Perspectives and Experiences on Death and Dying in Canada
As part of the Nonreligion in a Complex Future project, research associates at the University of Ottawa are inviting participants to contribute to an important study on death and dying. If you have experienced the loss of someone close to you within the past 12 months, please consider completing their brief online survey reflecting on your experience.
Click on the poster, or this link to access the survey: https://utampa.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bpx7hiIzvFCtO8C
The survey includes services that your loved one may have accessed, their experiences during the process, and how those supports were perceived. The survey is being shared internationally, and your insights can help develop better end-of-life care in Canada and beyond. Research includes interviews and reviews of academic literature, hospice care, death doulas, palliative services, and perspectives on what constitutes a โgood death.โ
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the research associate, Chris Miller, at: cmiller5@uottawa.ca
More details about this project can be found here: https://nonreligionproject.ca/end-of-life-care/
The deadline for completing the survey is January 30, 2026.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
