We celebrated Humanism and multiculturalism at three multicultural festivals in June 2025!
We were delighted that the Society of Freethinkers (SOFREE) and Secular Connexion Séculière (SCS) participated in not one… not two… but THREE multicultural festivals this year — in Guelph, Kitchener, and Hamilton!
These vibrant, community-driven events are an amazing showcase of global culture, connection, and creativity — the perfect setting for us to share the humanist values and secular principles we cherish and live by while honouring the magic and beauty of our Canadian cultural mosaic.
At these festivals, we engage in honest and respectful conversations with curious minds, relax and have fun with friends, and celebrate the richness of human expression through international food, music, art, and dance.
Our friendly and dedicated volunteers are the heart of our outreach and secular advocacy efforts. With their energy, warmth, and authenticity, they bring Humanist values to life—inviting curiosity, inspiring open dialogue, and embracing our shared humanity.

Meet & Greet at 2024 K-W Multicultural Festival
A celebration of culture and community! This event is a great opportunity to connect with friends, promote SOFREE’s presence, and enjoy delicious and diverse foods, live music, and captivating dance performances.
