We invite you to our festive winter gathering where you can enjoy tasty food (including the optional Dinner Special shown below), delight in light-hearted shenanigans, and raise a complimentary glass courtesy of SOFREE. Above all, our annual solstice event offers a meaningful opportunity to share a fun evening with both new and longtime friends. Let’s illuminate the longest night of the year with the glow of reason, the warmth of fellowship, and the joyful energy of a caring community looking forward to brighter days ahead.

This year’s get-together features our version of the cheeky White Elephant Gift Game. Here’s how to play:

1. Bring an item from home that you do not need or want, yet it has a certain charm, usefulness, humour, or quirkiness—an item that someone else may enjoy. The item should be in excellent condition. Alternatively, you can purchase a gift at the suggested price of $10 to $20.

2. Wrap the item so that the contents remain secret. A box is optional; mystery is essential.

3. Bring your wrapped gift to the party, unsigned and anonymous, and place it on the gift table.

4. During the game, all participants draw a number and take turns choosing a wrapped gift from the table, or you may “steal” a gift from another player. The revelry continues until every participant has a gift. Friendly exchanges are allowed.

5. Enjoy your White Elephant treasure!

We will be in the same private room where we hold our monthly brunches.
