Featured Film: The God Who Wasn’t There

A bold and provocative film that challenges the foundational claims of Christianity. At its core, it questions the alleged historicity of Jesus of Nazareth, drawing upon interviews and commentary from prominent historians, philosophers, and authors who articulate the case for a mythical Christ. It also highlights the parallels between the death-resurrection-ascension motif attributed to Jesus and strikingly similar themes found in earlier mythologies and religious traditions.
Beyond its historical critique, the film examines broader features of the Christian faith, particularly challenging the moral implications of a doctrine that demands submission under threat of eternal damnation. By giving voice to skepticism, reason, and critical inquiry, The God Who Wasn’t There appeals to those who have experienced doubt about their beliefs, challenged conventional assumptions, walked away from organized religion, or who simply value evidence-based thinking.
