The Hon. Bardish Chagger, MP (L) Waterloo, Government House Leader will visit our SOFREE Waterloo Brunch to talk about separation of church and state. Minister Chagger is a lifetime resident of Waterloo and a graduate of the University of Waterloo (BSc). Always active in the community, Ms Chagger served for several years as the Chairperson of the KW Multicultural Festival.Elected to Parliament in 2015, she immediately became Minister of Small Business and Tourism and the first woman in Canadian history to be appointed Government House Leader.
This is an important opportunity to hear one of our country’s present and future leaders speak about matters that concern us freethinkers, particularly separation of church and state. It is also an opportunity to inform the minister and her government about our presence in Canadian society, and our concerns about how that society and its system of government treat us.
Be sure to register for this important opportunity because space is limited.
